In 2011 I was commissioned to design a logotype for Cybozu, a Japanese cloud software company. The company name translates as 'cyber-kid' and the new dot com website marked a huge step forward for the company which is listed on the Japanese stock exchange.
The brief was to make they logotype friendly, fun and convey that their cloud software products are easy to use.
The logotype is a common sight in Japan and is used in it's expanding worldwide markets. Here for example Cybozu.com took over a huge amount of ad space in the incredibly busy Tokyo station in 2015. This was supported with national television advertisements making the logo even more familiar to Japanese consumers,
I designed a custom typeface based on the logotype for use in all aspects of branding for cybozu.com
