The Gadget Show

This is a television ident I designed, directed and animated for Channel Five, UK. It was broadcast in 2009 to promote the new series of 'The Gadget Show'. At this time Five had begun creating idents themed around some of their best programing.

My idea was to transform the normal channel logo into a smooth Apple like multi-functional gadget. With a quick shake this imaginary device transforms itself into different gadgety goodies!

The project has was nominated for Best Television Campaign - On-Air Design at the UK Promax Awards. It was also featured in the industry magazine Broadcast in a feature about how to stand out from the crowd in television branding.
